Three years ago, we first unveiled our petition to make health status – including vaccination status – a protected class under federal civil rights law. If we are successful in getting this bill passed, your personal health status would have the same protections under federal law afforded to other protected characteristics such as race, color, religion, sex, and national origin.

This means that no employer could deny your employment, fire you, or otherwise discipline you for refusing to be vaccinated, wear a mask, or get a medical test or procedure.

This means that no public K-12 school, college, or university could deny admission to a student for refusing a vaccination.

This means that no retail business or restaurant could ever deny you entry for not wearing a mask, or for refusing a shot.

In short, this would be the most monumental achievement in civil rights law in at least 35 years, when the Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into law.

At the time we first released the petition to the public, we set a goal of 100,000 signatures before we would present it to Congress. But that was during a different Presidential administration, and a different Congress. With recent changes at the federal level favoring greater protections for personal health rights, we believe that the time is finally right to present our draft bill to key members of Congress, including U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who just last night made this post on X:

And with U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-FL) set to introduce The G.R.A.C.E. Act this Friday, August 29, 2025 – which seeks to withhold federal funds from schools that deny religious exemptions to vaccinations – it is clear that the time is now to act on our proposal. (We The Patriots USA has also signed on as a supporter of The GRACE Act.)

But we need your help. As we prepare for these Congressional meetings, we would like to gather as many signatures as possible. Vicious online censorship of our mission has greatly thwarted these efforts, and we’ve gathered less than 10,000 signatures on this petition in three years. We should have gathered millions of signatures in that time, as we know for a fact that there are millions of people who support this effort.

SIGN THE PETITION HERE.

We also would like as many co-sponsors of this bill as possible. So if you think your Congressmen would be willing to sign onto this bill, please reach out and request a meeting. If you get one, please let us know so that we can share our draft bill directly with the Congressman and arrange for one of our officers to be present for the meeting (if not in person, by phone). Please email us at [email protected] if you are able to get a meeting with your Congressman (as we expect this to be a House Bill, we are only seeking meetings with U.S. House members at this time; however, if you have a friendly Senator, it wouldn’t hurt to reach out to see if he or she would be willing to voice support).

Finally, if you would like to contribute to our efforts in Congress by making a charitable gift, you may do so online here, or by mailing a check or money order to the address at the bottom of this web page.  We also accept anonymous gifts via donor-advised fund, and gifts to We The Patriots USA are tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. tax law.
