Just the other day, we announced our commitment to end medical kidnapping in America. Well, we already have yet another legal victory to report, involving a baby in Connecticut who was in danger of state capture due to his mother’s decision to decline “routine” vaccinations. Read her testimony below, and please consider supporting our work so that we can help more families in need.

I gave birth to my first baby almost 16 months ago. In the beginning months of his life I was threatened by the CT Department of Children and Families (DCF) for not taking him to his 3-month appointment for routine vaccinations, which I had declined at his previous appointment.  The pediatrician’s office reported me to DCF for not complying with their vaccination schedule.

I was a brand-new mother terrified by this individual trying to get into my home to see if my baby was being properly cared for. The DCF worker was very insistent that he needed to do a home-check and I almost gave in because I thought I had no other choice. I was having horrible dreams that my baby would be ripped from my arms and even had trauma from it for weeks after the situation was under control. He asked many invasive questions and it took me a few phone calls to know that this worker in fact did not have my son’s best interest.

My mother-in-law then connected me with We The Patriots USA, who provided me with an attorney. I informed DCF to contact our lawyer. I provided the lawyer with information and details from each of the conversations I had with the worker. He reached out and wrote DCF an amazingly specific letter explaining why we did not have to consent to a home-check.  We never heard from DCF again and God-willing, never will again. My husband and I will be forever grateful and so thankful for the assistance of We The Patriots USA.
