Thanks to generous supporters like you, we have been able to do so much this past year, not only for adults being persecuted, but also for so many children. We have been able to win a victory for a teen in Michigan who was denied a kidney transplant for refusing the covid shot, continue fighting in court for children in Connecticut who were denied an education after the state removed their religious exemption to mandatory vaccinations, and filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of children and their parents who were harassed and assaulted for opposing Critical Race Theory.
But there is so much more work to be done. Almost every day we hear stories of attacks against children in this country, who are the most innocent and defenseless victims of the tyrannical agenda to strip us of all of our rights and freedoms. Children are being kicked out of school for not being fully vaccinated, and covid shot mandates for kids loom on the horizon as the CDC just voted to add the shot to the recommended childhood schedule in February 2023. Kids are being told they must accept transgender ideology as fact, rejecting both the laws of biology and of God. These are scary times, and we need you now more than ever.
In California alone, we have the following litigation pending:
- In defense of Regina Lightbourne, whose 14 year-old son is about to be kicked out of high school in California because the California Medical Board refuses to grant him a medical exemption to school vaccinations, even though he has a documented prior vaccine injury, supported by medical notes from three different physicians;
- In defense of 20 parents in California who have had their children’s medical exemptions invalidated by the California Medical Board, after the Board stripped the doctor who wrote them of her license, simply because she spoke out about the dangers of vaccines and wrote exemptions for children in need; and
- In defense of a California schoolteacher, who is being threatened with termination unless she refers to her students by their “preferred gender pronouns,” even though to do so would mean violating her sincerely-held religious beliefs.
And this is only a small sampling. We have dozens more lawsuits that we could be filing from coast to coast, if only we had the necessary funding. That’s why, as the end of this year approaches, we are launching a matching campaign. We are hoping to get matching commitments totaling $500,000 by December 31, 2022, so that if we raise that amount, we will have $1 million dollars to commit to our mission. Imagine how many people we could help with that money!
If you are willing to join us in this effort, please email us at [email protected] no later than Friday, November 18, 2022, to let us know whether you are able to make a matching contribution, and the amount you are willing to match. We are suggesting matching gift options of $5,000; $10,000; $25,000; $50,000; or $100,000; but of course you can also customize your own matching amount. We thank you in advance for you generosity.
