Beyond the usual fireworks and backyard barbecues, this year’s celebration will be extra special because it marks an important historic milestone not only for our country, but for the world. This year, we will gather to celebrate 250 years of independence, and 250 years as the world leader in freedom.
But of course, we don’t always live up to that reputation, especially in states led by tyrants working overtime to strip us of each and every precious right recorded in our nation’s Constitution.
