Today we are proud to announce that two major legal organizations have stepped forward to file amicus (“friend of the court”) briefs in support of our petition to the U.S. Supreme Court, seeking to restore the religious exemption to mandatory vaccinations for schoolchildren in Connecticut. Recognizing the tremendous importance of our lawsuit with regard to the future of medical and religious freedom in this country, both Physicians for Informed Consent (PIC) and Wagner Faith and Freedom Center filed briefs urging the Court to take up our case, and rule in favor of protecting religious exemptions to vaccinations for children. If we are victorious in this case, not only would religious exemptions be restored in Connecticut, but the path would be cleared for them to be restored in California, New York, and Maine as well. What’s more, it would blunt any effort to repeal the religious exemptions in numerous other states across the country currently considering such action.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to both of these amazing organizations for their support of our litigation. We also ask for your prayers as we continue this battle, and – if possible – for your financial support of our organization. This litigation, like all of our other legal work, is very costly, and it is only made possible through the generous support of donors like you. God bless you all.
