Today we are happy to announce that Amanda and Paul Guidry, the Missouri parents whose children were stolen from them as punishment for using an alternative medical treatment for their son, have been removed from the state’s child abuse registry! In a ruling issued on July 22, 2026, the court found that the state’s “burden of proving abuse or neglect, specifically the element of harm or injury, is not met.”
This has been a very long road for the Guidrys. You may recall that We The Patriots USA first took their case in 2023, soon after their four minor children were medically kidnapped by the state. The state took the children because the Guidrys had used the alternative medical treatment of administering low-dose diluted chlorine dioxide to treat their nonverbal, six-year-old son’s autism. Although there were no signs of any physical harm to the child, and his condition was actually improving with the treatment, the state saw fit to take all four of the Guidrys’ minor children and place them in foster care. After We The Patriots USA retained counsel to represent the Guidrys, the children were returned home to their parents in just six weeks! For those familiar with CPS/DCF medical kidnapping cases, you know that’s lightning speed.
But the battle was far from over. The Guidrys were placed on the state’s “registry of perpetrators”, despite no conviction of abuse and neglect, and no evidence to even support such an allegation. So we continued to fight for the Guidrys, funding their continued legal representation to get them removed from the registry, and to remove a stigma that they should never have been forced to bear. With this ruling, the Guidrys can now pick up the pieces and begin the process of full healing for their family after this nightmare.
