We are disappointed that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit has dismissed our appeal in the case of Salier et al. v. Walmart et al., which we filed on behalf of retired U.S. Marine Bill Salier and his wife Karla. We still believe that filing this case was the right thing to do, and we learned things that we are certain will help us in future cases like this. This case was also worth filing because, although we lost, we forced Walmart and Hy-Vee Supermarkets to appear in court and answer for their despicable conduct in denying life-saving ivermectin to Bill and Karla. We were able to get this on the record in open court, for the world to see. So even when we lose, we win something.

I would like to thank We the Patriots USA for their support in our efforts to fight against the intrusion of companies or pharmacists into our rights to determine what is best for our healthcare or to interject between physicians and individuals.

It seems that many times, when people step in to help support others in an effort or a cause that they believe in, they are left wondering as to the final outcome. I want to ensure that this is not the case with us.

As it relates to our complaint against Walmart and Hy-Vee, unfortunately our efforts were unsuccessful. The case was thrown out by the courts. An appeal was made, but again was dismissed. We were not able to reach the discovery phase, let alone to get in front of a jury.

While the results were disappointing to say the least, I want to encourage everyone who supported us in this effort. I still believe that it was the right thing to do.

Individual liberty, the very basis of our nation, needs to have constant vigilance. At times people can feel like they are all alone and can lose hope in our country or even themselves.

Even though the results were not what we hoped for, the knowledge that so many people could see what was happening and gathered their resources to help, proves the goodness of the American people.

Thank you again for stepping up to the plate. Be encouraged that we do have a great nation. We do have great people. Be ever vigilant towards your liberties and always remember that God is in control. Trust in Him.

With all my thanks,

Bill Salier
