Amanda and Paul Guidry have been living a nightmare. On June 16, 2023, State of Missouri officials entered their home and took custody of their four minor children – including their youngest, a six year-old nonverbal boy on the autism spectrum. The reason? Amanda and Paul had been using an alternative medical treatment known as chlorine dioxide as a treatment for their youngest son (among other uses), and were seeing amazing results, including great improvements in speech and motor skills.
In the seven weeks since, this poor little boy has been shuffled around to four different foster families, unable to effectively communicate his needs, or his fears. He knows that he can’t live with mommy or daddy, but he doesn’t understand why. Amanda and Paul are limited to a once per week visitation, and due to Paul’s work schedule, he has been unable to see his son in weeks.
Now the state is telling Amanda and Paul that the only way they will get their children back is if they sign an agreement not to use chlorine dioxide throughout the remainder of the litigation that We The Patriots USA is funding. Essentially, the State has kidnapped these children and is now holding them hostage, using them as pawns to impose its medical will on the family.

This is an egregious abuse of state power and a gross violation of parental rights and health freedom. It should be criminal. Our first priority is getting these children back home safely with their parents, and then to hold the state accountable for its malfeasance in court, to set a precedent so that this does not happen to other families using alternative health treatments. Make no mistake – if they can do this to parents using chlorine dioxide, there will be nothing to stop them from doing this to parents using all sorts of other alternative health treatments and remedies, even vitamin and mineral supplements!
