You may recall that in early 2022, we first announced that we were taking on the case of Teryn Gregson, a PGA Tour reporter who was fired after requesting a religious exemption to the Tour’s masking and testing mandates. Since then, Teryn has become a dear and valuable member of the We The Patriots USA family, hosting our first podcast, Faithful Freedom with Teryn Gregson, serving as the emcee at our National Conference in 2023, and producing and directing our groundbreaking film, Shot Dead. But through this all, she remained a client first and foremost, and we are committed to seeing that justice is served for Teryn and her family, who were grievously harmed by the Tour’s religious discrimination.

It has been a long process, as we first had to wade through the administrative process with the State of Florida. But today we are proud to announce that we have filed a federal lawsuit against the PGA Tour in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. You can read the complaint HERE.

We believe very strongly that Teryn will easily meet her burden of proving that her termination of employment was motivated by religious discrimination, and that the Tour will be unable to meet its burden of proving that continuing to allow Teryn to work at home as an accommodation for her religious beliefs would have resulted “in substantial increased costs in relation to the conduct of its particular business” – the new standard set forth by the U.S. Supreme Court just last year in Groff v. DeJoy. After all, Teryn’s show had its highest ratings ever in the months immediately preceding her termination. So the evidence clearly demonstrates that Teryn’s work at home arrangement was actually very beneficial to the Tour’s business interests.

Please pray for us as we continue to fight for Teryn, and please also consider making a donation to support our legal efforts. Our work is only made possible by generous donors like you.
